Prayers for Yanni
This is from a friend of mine in the UK. He is a Greek Orthodox brother and desires your prayers. God bless.

Dear Rick,
Just a short request for your prayers for me - I am under a large amount of stress at the moment. I am right at the end of my research project for my PhD and my funding is at an end, and at the same time, my wife just was made redundent (last week). She has been suffering from poor health, and her employer had no choice but to let her go (they were actually very cool about it, so it's not their fault at all). So, I have managed yesterday to get a job so I can support us, as we have no financial slack as it were - mortgage etc etc. Times ahead are going to be hard, and I am worried particularly about my beloved wife, who is not well - she has been diagnosed with clinical depression by her doctor.
My Faith in Jesus Christ, our Saviour, is a tremendous rock for me to rely on in all this, it really is a quite incredibly beautiful perspective, so I can pray for her. I would appreciate your prayers too, good wise friend who has trodden so well the Christian path way out ahead. And my heartfelt thanks already, since thou hast nudged, nay, graceffully inspired me through your inspiring words, deeds and love. What a blessing me knee hurt me sometime in 2003 that lead me towards barefoot running and then towards a more spiritual awakening and then a rediscovery of my Christian roots, that most around me have neglected.
Run strong, friend.
Yanni
